Over the years selling real estate has usually been list a property, advertise in the paper, display it in the window and put up a for sale sign.
While this process still remains the same there has been a huge push in the social media to help agents sell their listings. The most popular are Facebook and Youtube.
Many agents have now embraced both of these new marketing tools. However one of the most powerful social marketing tools is youtube.
I have had quite a few home sales videos made and the response at this stage has been very good.
The videos have appeared on page one of my you tube search and have attracted quite a lot of interest within the Real Estate Industry.
The videos act as a two way marketing tool. It advertises the property and its features and also advertises the agency and the salesperson which is a great way to improve a salespersons profile.
These videos can be uploaded on the agents face book page and can be added to the listing on the various websites as a virtual tour.
The feedback from my vendors has been very positive as they are affordable and add a new dimension to the marketing of their property.
You can even have youtube videos created that are marketing you as a real estate agent. This is a great way for the agent to get their name out there and be found in their local area.
Lets face it when selling real estate a salesperson is really conducting their own business within a business and the more they builds their profile the more successful they will be which in turn benefits the agency that they works for.
